In case you are on a Windows machine, just type the following in the command line to concatenate the binary files:
copy /b iPod1_1_2.0_5A347_Restore.ipsw.001+iPod1_1_2.0_5A347_Restore.ipsw.002+iPod1_1_2.0_5A347_Restore.ipsw.003 iPod1_1_2.0_5A347_Restore.ipsw
does it matter what version itunes is or does it have to be 7.7?
