How to Twitter from Firefox
Recently i caught the twitter bug, since then i have been trying different twitter clients for easy communication between my twitter friends. I have tried few Adobe Air clients, java things but nothing seemed appeling until i found out TwitterFox.
TwitterFox is a Firefox extension that notifies your friends’ tweets and lets you tweet them. Being a Firefox extension I don’t need to get out of my browser to keep myself updated with the tweets. The extension adds a tiny icon on the status bar and notifies you when your friends update their tweets. Also it has a small text input field to update your tweets.
How to Use
After installing the extension, right click the status bar icon and select Preferences.

Click Add account button then enter your user name (or e-mail address) and password in an appeared dialog. After pressing OK it will automatically authenticate itself.
Each time your friends update their tweets, you can see a small balloon popup on right-bottom corner in a browser window. You can change the update interval and popup display interval on the preference panel to your liking.

There is a reply button on right-top corner of the popup. If you click the button, You can reply a message to the friend.

It even features and autocomplete friends-list, just type “@” and you’ll see your friends from where you can select anyone.
It automatically makes the long urls into a convenient tiny url format.

Also multi-account support makes it quite a hit for me.
Grab this extension its just easier to tweet from Firefox then any standalone application.
