Usually we see that the email integration that is built into your operating system or other local apps by default use a local client to send email, typically being  Outlook Express or Outlook. But our Gmail addictiveness doesn’t allows Outlook exposure.

Many news sites,blogs feature “mailto” links to send email that opens the default email client and pre-populate the email and subject . gAttach will make sure these open in Gmail rather than a local client such as Outlook Express. If you right click on any file, go to the send to menu, and click on “Mail Recipient” then by default gAttach will open the Gmail and the file will be uploaded as an attachment.

By using the “email file” link that exists in Windows Explorer task pane you can email any of you files using gmail. Also gAttach will globally work on any local application that you can send email from. You can send attachments directly from applications like Picasa, Windows Photo Gallery, Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat, Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.
