Adobe Air applications are one of the most beautiful applications you’ll ever see, mainly because the interfaces look handsomely wicked. This free Adobe Air application Flump lets you download all the photos from a user-specified Flickr account to your hard drive. All you need to do is provide it with the username or the Flickr ID, no passwords of-course and specify it where to save the pictures and after that click Start Flump. It’s quite similar to FlickrDown and Flickr AutoDownloadr. But it beats them down with the simply great interface and the simplicity of get it work, moreover its the only cross-platform app. Flump is free, works wherever Adobe AIR does.

If your tired of Microsoft’s lame new OS, Vista! folks at Microsoft thinks that they can help you up. Straight from the devil’s lair comes a 14-page PDF document on Vista Performance and Tuning. Microsoft guys suggestions include the usual disabling unwanted services, disabling visual effects or to adjust search settings. This are overall basic stuffs that most geeks do after installing Vista or any other OS. So it means experienced users will probably not find anything new in the guide that they do not already know about. But this PDF is a nicely-laid out and detailed package. Hey if you don’t find it useful maybe your mom or neighborhood chick find it useful!

Downloading and installing your Windows Updates can be a real pain in the ass. But this free utility Windows Updates Downloader comes as a god sent gift who seriously keep reinstalling his Windows every now and then.
The software works in sync with Program Files Update Lists (ULs) which are also available in its official website. Once the list is loaded, you can grab any of Microsoft’s current updates as executable packages, easily slipstream or run by themselves on a system that needs it. It saves you endless hours of downloading those nagging updates, that will popup each time you reinstall your updates. The website hosts nine English Update lists for operating systems like Windows XP, Windows Vista and even Microsoft Office and Microsoft Exchange. Unfortunately the + signs seems to be not working, which is quite annoying as you have to go to the website for updated lists. Other then that a great application and a must have for system builders and tweakers.

Meebone is an Adobe Air application that brings webs most coolest web based multiprotocol (multi client) messaging website.
Most of us will say, pidgin supports more messaging protocols and have better functionality, but not much of a looker. Meebo has file transfer built in, and supports webcams! MeeBone is a free download, requires the Adobe Air platform to run.

Tired of seeing the Outlook splash screen each time each time you click on something emailish. gAttach is a free program that integrates Gmail into your system not just your browser as your default email service. Usually we see that the email integration that is built into your operating system or other local apps by default use a local client to send email, typically being Outlook Express or Outlook. But our Gmail addictiveness doesn’t allows Outlook exposure.
The typical examples of things gAttach lets us do. Many news sites,blogs feature “mailto” links to send email that opens the default email client and pre-populate the email and subject . gAttach will make sure these open in Gmail rather than a local client such as Outlook Express. If you right click on any file, go to the send to menu, and click on “Mail Recipient” then by default gAttach will open the Gmail and the file will be uploaded as an attachment.
