7 things to DO on Valentines Day

One day that most modern girls look forward is Valentine’s Day. Coming once a year, a romantic moment to look forward to can sometimes be the best moment in your life that you could never forget. Here are a few things that could spice things up…

Exchange really, really romantic love notes: This is the most common and popular way of expressing your feeling to the one who sets your heart on fire. Nothing too corny like the lines you get off the internet and nothing too outdated( might work, but not always). Think of how you feel and try to be as honest about your feelings as possible and come up with something catchy.

Get some red roses and few gifts: Get a bouquet of red roses. The most romantic thing that you could come up with. It’s sure to bring a big smile and a long hug and a kiss if you give it to her at the right time and at the right moment. Get her a box of her favorite chocolates. Maybe something small and cute can also be added, like a small teddy bear or a cute key-chain or a small flower-vase. Anything to give a little extra something to say that you care.

Spend the day together: Hang out. Set out a list of things to do together and set a time to meet up. Don’t oversleep (worst thing you could ever do…). Brush those pearly whites, take a shower, a little deo, something smooth and comfy to wear and you’re set. But before you go, don’t forget to check your wallet. You can never say how the day might turn out. Meet up and roam around your favorite hang out spots that you two share. It could be the beach or a walk in your favorite park. Or go for a road trip to somewhere close by, like a hill overlooking the city or the sea. Watch the sunset together if it’s possible. Or go to the top most floor of your apartment and watch the sun set( that is if you don’t have an ocean next to you).

Spend time in each others apartment: This is for those who live in apartments, obviously. Spend time cleaning up each others place, or cook each others meal. Take a nap listening to music or looking at old photo albums. Order take out and watch a late night movie. Type of movie is of your choice, something that both of you are comfortable watching. Doze off in each others arms if the movie get’s too boring.

Go out for dinner: Think of the most romantic restaurant within your budget. But then again, why not go a little extra special by taking her to a really classy restaurant? After all, Valentines Day comes only once in a year. Tell her that you have something special planned out in the evening and tell her to put on the favorite and prettiest dress. Plan every moment carefully leaving no room for mistakes, cause you wanna make this really special, see? Pick out your outfit for the evening, something either really snazzy or something that gives out a calm look, something that say’s,’ I’m in for a easy, smooth evening’. Pick her up. Not to early or too late. You shouldn’t make her panic by reaching too early, nor make her wait by reaching too late. Leave early if you feel you might get late on the way.

Be a Gentleman. Open and close the door for her. Let her lead the way. Pull the chair out for her( don’t forget to push it back for her to sit…). If it’s possible to arrange something with the hotel manager to arrange something like a special cake or a well decorated table with scented candles of a bowl with flowers floating around.

Make special effort with your table manners. Do take care that you don’t do anything rather offensive or particularly nasty, like a big burp that could blow away her makeup. But don’t make it obvious by handling the cutlery in a very careful manner or anything of that sort. Either have dessert there or take her to Baskin-Robbins or Cold Stones for her to have her favorite ice cream. Go for a spin in the city and then finally take her back home. One final kiss to end the day. What comes after is up to you…

Well, that’s pretty much everything, i guess. Have a romantic and safe Valentine’s Day. Make it your best and most of all, have fun doing it…
