Top 5 modern drummers

February 10th, 2009

In the past we have had many great and some legendary drummers. Drummers such as Buddy Rich, Jim Chapin, Neil Peart, Steve Gadd etc. Now in the modern times we have our own greats. Drummers who are role models for many young drummers today. Here are 5 of the best modern drummer around.

1. Danny Carey- Without doubt one of the best drummers around. With an amazing sense of odd time signatures and a knack of utilizing the entire drum kit in every song. His ability to play jazz grooves on rock songs is the key behind his odd time signatures. He has been playing with the band Tool for over a decade.

Top Five Korean Movies you should watch before you die

February 9th, 2009

Korean Movies, compared to the other films that I’ve seen, have a very different feel to it. Every director who makes a Korean film has his own personal touch to the film. Alot of  Korean movies are quite unique. I can say so, cause those movies have something that they wanna convey, something that is heart warming, something that makes you go on laughing your head off or makes you go,”….<whimper>….”. Anyway, here is my personal list of Top Five Korean Movies-

  • My Sassy Girl(2001)- I’ve been seeing this movie on and on and on, and i never get tired of it. I went online and did some research on it and it seems to be quite a popular movie. An all time favorite too. It’s based on a true story, and has been a great hit in South Korea. It’s a story about a college student, Gyeon- woo, who just isn’t doing too well in his love life until he comes across this girl, who is never named throughout the movie.

7 things to DO on Valentines Day

One day that most modern girls look forward is Valentine’s Day. Coming once a year, a romantic moment to look forward to can sometimes be the best moment in your life that you could never forget. Here are a few things that could spice things up…

Exchange really, really romantic love notes: This is the most common and popular way of expressing your feeling to the one who sets your heart on fire. Nothing too corny like the lines you get off the internet and nothing too outdated( might work, but not always). Think of how you feel and try to be as honest about your feelings as possible and come up with something catchy.
